Inventions

 When you hear Industrial Revolution your first idea is inventions. It´s a period of big inventions and technological advances. I could see big textile machine and a train that needed a person to be constantly putting coal or if not it didn´t work. I was amazed because of the inventions. Before I went I knew that they were big, but, unless you see it , you can´t imagine their giantess. The one that most shocked me was the train. Before the invention of the train they had to transport products by boat or by cart but wirh the train, transport was easier and this gave more importance to globalization, making big advances.
 Another invention was the telegraph. This allowed them to communicate, it was like the phone of their period. It needed a lot of cables because it had to be connected to receive the message.

What about people?

 When I went there I saw many things but the most important one is the real life of a person. I was lucky and I could talk with a worker and a factory owner. I was surprised because of their differences. The worker had to be in the factory for 12 hours a day for a few wage. He had 2 children and both had to work on the same factory repeating the same movement during hours and hours. The factory owner´s life wasn´t like this. He wasn´t in the factory, he only managed the money and the workers. His work day was less than a worker and this allowed him to be with his family. The life of an owner was much easier than the worker but he still on the factory because all of them were like this and if you wanted to work and earn money you had to be like this.

 Looking to this 3 pictures you may think that the IR was a dark period because of the pollution. If you are thinking this you are correct. There was a lot of pollution and people had few life expectancy. This was caused because of the long working periods of 12 hours, no rests and because they started very young, as a child to work.
 The buildings were big factories and if you are in a big mountain and you looked at the city you saw a lot of chimneys throwing smoke and you couldn´t see any building.

Where did I travel to?

 I went to London, on the south east part of Great Britain because it´s the capital of the place where revolution started.

The travel

 Once I have put the electrodes I decided the Industrial Revolution as the first place to visit. First of all I had to do some medical tests for knowing if I am able to travel. When I passed them some psychologists asked me if I was going to change something in the past, of course the answer is no. If you say something else they don´t give you permission to travel. Then I felt a little spark and when I opened my eyes, I was on London on the IR times.
 I wanted to go there because on my opinion it´s one of the best periods on history because of the changes during a short period of time but when I arrived I realize that yes, there were many changes, but it was very different from what I expected. Streets were dark and dirty because of new pollution. You could see tired and poor people wherever you go and in the other part, there were a lot of riches. There were many social differences.

Time machine

 My time machine isn´t as a common time machine (if there´re common). It doesn´t have a chair and you push a bottom to travel. It consists on some cables connected to your brain that measure your vital records to guarantee that you don´t pass through any problems during your trip. It also measures you physically and you go to the past as an illusion. This is that the place where you really are is on your times and the thing that travels to the past are your thoughts and a recreation of your body.
 This time machine is more secure than the common ones because it´s watched by some doctors and if they see any problem on the electrodes they disconnect you.
